These pics above were taken around 6 weeks old. Around week 5 we discovered our little fella was developing his own personality in more than one way. He started sleeping less and being awake more, thus crying more, which was new to us since he hardly ever cried unless he was hungry. We also discovered he was having some tummy issues and the gripe water drops soon became our saving grace! After we turned a corner with his tummy improving he then started being more active with lots of kicking and fist pumping and cooing and SMILING!!! Almost everytime he eats its like he has to do his aerobic exercise to work off the calories. We crack up. Another thing is that he's started sucking his finger as you can see in the first picture. Since he was born, Ethan's been sucking his hand, to the point that sometimes he would almost gag himself. But just recently he's kind of shifted to sucking more of his right index finger. Growing up I sucked my left index finger, so there's no denying where he gets it from. Although we know that this could lead us down the road to braces in the future, he sucks his finger to put himself back to sleep at night, so at this point in time, we're not breaking any habits!:)
