80's retro style

Ethan wanted to go outside the other day but didn't have shoes on. I told him we had to go put shoes on and he ran into his room. He pulled open the drawer that has his socks and shoes. He immediately grabbed the one sock in the drawer that did not have a match, of course right?. I offered other socks but he would just say his new favorite word "No!" So we grabbed another odd sock and went with it. I closed the drawer but he promptly said "hat?, hat?" So I let him grab a hat out of the drawer and we went outside. This was the result....

Preparing for Small Group

Mommy had a last minute emergency patient come in and was running late today. Lots of people come over on Wednesdays for something Daddy calls "small group" (I think he's confused about the meaning of small. IDK). Daddy was working hard to try and clean up the house without mommy so I thought I would help him out. He seemed so lost.

Fun Outside

The weather was so great today we took Ethan for a walk in his wagon in the neighborhood, then hung out in the backyard for a while. He loves playing with Daddy's hat and can even say "hat" now and point to his head showing us where it goes. He and Chris also invented their own riding lawn mower:) enjoy the pics!!

Handy Man & A Farmer's Tan

Last week I went with Dad to get some air filters for the house, only problem was ole Lowe's didn't have 24x30. Now I know if we would have gone to Ace, that they would have had that size, right Paw-Paw?!! But it was still a fun time with Dad and everyone is always saying I'm so cute when I'm browsing the store with Dad, so it wasn't totally a wasted trip:).

I usually take my shoes off on the way home from school because everyone knows barefoot is better!! And then I decided to soak myself with juice on the ride home too.. Ha ha... So these other pics are what was left of my school outfit once I arrived home. Mattie liked it and I got to sport my tan so it was all good. See y'all next time.

Shoes

Nana got on to daddy and mommy because they didn't blog about me as much anymore. I thought I would help mommy and daddy out by posting a picture myself. Here is a picture of my newest shoes. Mommy tells me that they are a little bit to big but I ask to wear them all the time anyway. Daddy thinks the colors are really great and is teaching me to say "War Eagle!" just like him.

10 months Old

Well 3 things have increased in the Wolfe family this month -- Ethan's age, his mobility and thus the boo-boo's.  We can certainly say he's got a hard head. He is everywhere and into everything!  Some of his favorite things to do are make laps around the coffee table while holding on, banging on the the glass back door while talking to Mattie who's playing outside, and going for a ride in his stroller.  He's continuing to talk a lot too and just this week he finally said MA-MA!!!  He's also learning how to wave bye-bye.  As usual we are having a blast with him.  Can't believe that 1 year mark is quickly approaching.. sniff, sniff.  Enjoy the pics!

Ethan 9 Months Old

We can't believe how fast time is passing and that Ethan is already 9 months old.  We are having so much fun with him.  He's crawling everywhere and he and Mattie Lou have figured out how to play chase with each other, which is a funny sight to see.  Ethan is maneuvering here and there by walking while holding to on to whatever is close by.  He's opening cabinets and drawers, so the safety locks are in full swing in the Wolfe household.  He's talking with his favorite word being Da-da... but Chris says it's definitely "non-specific" as the door is da-da, Mattie is da-da, the spoon is da-da.  Ethan also likes to say ba-ba, fa-fa, but we still haven't figured out the M sound for ma-ma yet, although Daddy is trying to encourage it any chance he gets.  He's also learned Patty Cake and he thinks he is quite big stuff when he does it for you.  This photo session was hilarious as he is not interested in sitting still at all, he's got too much to see and do.  Enjoy the pics!
