10 months Old

Well 3 things have increased in the Wolfe family this month -- Ethan's age, his mobility and thus the boo-boo's.  We can certainly say he's got a hard head. He is everywhere and into everything!  Some of his favorite things to do are make laps around the coffee table while holding on, banging on the the glass back door while talking to Mattie who's playing outside, and going for a ride in his stroller.  He's continuing to talk a lot too and just this week he finally said MA-MA!!!  He's also learning how to wave bye-bye.  As usual we are having a blast with him.  Can't believe that 1 year mark is quickly approaching.. sniff, sniff.  Enjoy the pics!

 I love to talk with me hands, I get it from Mommy's side of the family!

Ethan 9 Months Old

We can't believe how fast time is passing and that Ethan is already 9 months old.  We are having so much fun with him.  He's crawling everywhere and he and Mattie Lou have figured out how to play chase with each other, which is a funny sight to see.  Ethan is maneuvering here and there by walking while holding to on to whatever is close by.  He's opening cabinets and drawers, so the safety locks are in full swing in the Wolfe household.  He's talking with his favorite word being Da-da... but Chris says it's definitely "non-specific" as the door is da-da, Mattie is da-da, the spoon is da-da.  Ethan also likes to say ba-ba, fa-fa, but we still haven't figured out the M sound for ma-ma yet, although Daddy is trying to encourage it any chance he gets.  He's also learned Patty Cake and he thinks he is quite big stuff when he does it for you.  This photo session was hilarious as he is not interested in sitting still at all, he's got too much to see and do.  Enjoy the pics!

8 month old Pics!!

We had some fun taking his 8 month old pics. Here Daddy's dressed me like a "cool dude" w/ my flannel shirt and sleeves rolled up.

Aunt Fran, knitted this LSU/Auburn sweater for me. Unfortunately since we haven't had much of a winter, I haven't been able to wear it much, but it was perfect for this photo shoot!

Ethan's Dedication February 2012

Ethan's Baby Dedication at Church of the Highlands occurred Sunday, February 5th. It was a very nice ceremony and we were so blessed to have family come up for the celebration. Several good pics were taken that we wanted to share. Ethan unfortunately had a fresh cold and eye infection that started that Saturday, thus the glistening of his face in most of the pics. HA! Then about an hour before we left for church our little tough guy bangs his head against the bathroom cabinet so that the shiner you see above his left eyebrow:) He was a trooper though, as always. Enjoy!!
This is Mommy's favorite, I love blowing bubbles with my tongue and giving slimy kisses:)
